Electrical Controls Technician

(Hampton, NH)

SUMMARY: Provide wiring, plumbing, and all around support for Engineers in a precision machine fabrication and R&D environment. The individual should also provide repair and upgrades to existing machinery in the manufacturing environment and plant facilities where appropriate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build electrical panels, enclosures, harnesses, and related hardware.
• Install sensors and feedback devices on equipment.
• Install pneumatic systems including valves, regulators and actuators.
• Fabricate necessary brackets (within capability), for mounting of electronic or pneumatic components using basic machine tools.
• Maintain inventory of stocked components.
• Diagnose/repair electrical problems on production or building equipment.
• Perform testing for production support or machine build purposes.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Individual should have general technical training in electrical/electronic systems, either through classroom work or experience in an industrial environment which yields equivalent capabilities.
