Regional Sales Manager

On-site position (Hampton, NH)

SUMMARY: Conduct Sales & Sales support activities for the solicitation of orders within his/her Region by performing the following duties personally, through the Corporate Office and with Sales Representatives

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. However, other duties may be assigned as required by the North American Sales Manager.

• Coordinate & participate in on-site customer visits (OEM, CM, Fixture House, Distributors, etc.) with company Sales Reps on a regular basis, providing Sales support for the Manager’s assigned multi-state Region/Territories within North America.
• Maintain current industry knowledge of competitor products, process equipment, various tester & fixture types, etc.
• Develop & deliver on-site product demonstrations & Sales presentations for the solicitation of orders, communicating directly with customers to promote QA products based on their needs & to address competitive situations as they occur.
• Communicate with QA Corporate personnel the information needed for their application assistance on product complaints, product returns, & evaluation requests.
• Attend industry Trade Shows or Customer meetings as required, representing the company in the booth or table-top display, for the purpose of promoting QA products, soliciting new & supporting existing customers.
• Communicate with the Corporate Office the information needed for them to initiate price quotations when requested by the customer.
• Prepare periodic sales reports as needed, detailing market size as well as suggesting sales Budget and Forecast estimates to QA Corporate.
• Provide continual feedback regarding competitor activity & potential new product suggestions.
• Provide feedback to QA Corporate regarding the activities of Sales representatives that are in his/her Region/Territories.
• Utilize expense account with prudent judgement.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of outside Sales Management experience. ATE Test Fixturing &/or Test Probe industry experience a plus. B. S. degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Good command of the English language is required, as well as ability to communicate (written & verbal) with all levels of the Company and Customer personnel.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: N/A.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Approximately 50% or more of travel, primarily within the U.S. & Canada is required on a regular basis to Territories within his/her assigned geographic area.
