IT Manager/Developer
SUMMARY: The IT Manager/Developer is responsible for leading and executing our technology strategy while actively designing, developing, and supporting business systems. This role blends IT leadership, infrastructure management, ERP support, cybersecurity oversight and custom application development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
IT Leadership and Strategy
- Develop and execute an IT roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Manage IT budget, vendors, licensing, and service contracts.
- Establish IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and governance procedures.
- Lead IT projects including ERP upgrades, migrations, integrations, and infrastructure modernization.
- Provide executive reporting on system performance, risk posture, and technology initiatives.
Infrastructure and Systems Management
- Administrator Microsoft Windows Server environments (on-prem and/or Azure hybrid).
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services.
- Oversee virtualization platforms (Hyper-V).
- Manage physical servers, SAN/NAS storage, and datacenter equipment.
- Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Ensure network security (firewalls, VPN, endpoint protection, monitoring).
- Monitor system performance and proactively address issues.
- Plan and execute PC refresh cycles, server upgrades, and Epicor Kinetic infrastructure changes.
- Manage physical servers, SAN/NAS storage, and datacenter equipment.
- Maintain system patching, endpoint protection, and infrastructure monitoring.
Software Development and Integration
- Design and develop internal business applications and system integrations.
- Create APIs, automation scripts, and data workflows.
- Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting solutions.
- Build business-specific tools using .NET, C#, JavaScript, Visual Studio, or similar frameworks
- Maintain source control and coding standards.
- Follow secure development best practices.
- Experience in developing Epicor BAQs, dashboards, SSRS reports, and system customizations would be a plus.
Database Administration (Light SQL Administration)
- Manage Microsoft SQL Service environments.
- Perform backups, indexing, and maintenance plan oversight.
- Manage identity governance and access controls
- Enforce security best practices across on-perm infrastructure.
Cybersecurity and Compliance
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls across servers and endpoints.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability management.
- Manage identity governance and access controls.

End-User and Operational Support
- Provide in-house technical support and escalation leadership.
- Coordinate and oversee managed service providers
- Lead training initiatives for business systems and ERP usage
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows Server environments.
- Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.
- C#, .NET, Visual Studio (or similar frameworks.
- Networking fundamentals and security best practices.
- Experience supporting ERP systems (Epicor preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.
- Experience with Epicor Kinetic.
- Power BI, SSRS, or Crystal Reports experience.
- Certifications (MCSE, Azure, Security+, PMP, etc.)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work will be performed in office, on-site. Occasional after-hours support for ERP upgrades or maintenance. Limited travel may be required.
