Stockroom Clerk
(Hampton, NH)
SUMMARY: Assist with activities of stockroom. Expedite flow of materials, parts and packages within manufacturing. Pull and deliver product for work orders to production. Check Backorder detail for supply opportunity. Document and enter numerous part adjustments to inventory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Evaluates written data such as Production Work Orders and incoming parts to establish efficient allocation and scheduling of workflows.
Confer with production personnel to resolve problems affecting schedule due to production and supplier issues.
Counts or weight counts all incoming parts from suppliers to verify/record receipt of items.
Update Outside-Processing Log with details required for shipment to supplier.
Ensure proper preparation of packages to suppliers for value added processes in accordance with Handling, Storage, Packaging, Preservation, and Delivery procedures.
Ensure proper quantity reconciliation of returned parts from manufacturing.
Maintain tracking log of miscellaneous stock issues.
Package product as specified in work instructions.
Stay familiar with current computer use requirements; Windows Products, & ERP system.
Participate in preparation and counting of all semi-annual and "cycle-count" inventories.
Attendance is an essential function of this position.
Other duties and responsibilities may be required and or added as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Ability to work with small parts.
Ability to use counting scales.
Experience working with other department personnel in manufacturing.
Computer skills including Windows software(Excel, Access, Word).
Computer use and knowledge of ERP system for stockroom.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent, 3-5 years related experience.
ERP experience in manufacturing 2+ years.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Working knowledge of business English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: High School level English and Math proficiency.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
