Example of Mounting Configuration

The M08-89 series probes are designed for 0.8 mm standard and custom socket applications. Actual stroke and plate thicknesses may vary based on application.

The probe tube must be captured in the socket while the Interface Plunger remains compressed. The DUT Plunger is stroked with each actuation. The Interface Plunger is typically compressed and fixed at approximately 0.008 [0.20].

1 Current Rating is affected by spring material and lubrication choice. Please refer to Current Carrying Capacity and Testing in Extreme Temperature application notes for more details.

2 Maximum plunger OD should be used to calculate minimum guide plate clearance holes.

3 Working Temperature Range: Up to 120°C with lubrication. SS springs can be used up to 204°C without lubrication.

All specifications subject to change without notice. All dimensions are in [mm]. All spring forces are oz [gms].
